Lets try in proper section then

I have been making $20k+ profit in Adwords for many months now.

I have worked for Fortune 500 companies and managing their PPC side of things and have had people pay me $5000+ for private coaching sessions over my place.

So I feel I know stuff in this area that is worth sharing and giving back to this community.

Ask anything you want related to adwords...

or add in skype PM etc.

P.S there will be no WSO on this

What days of the week and hours of the day do you run your campaign?

      Hei thanks everyone.

      had a nice long sleep

      So here are some answers...

This depends on the kind of offers you are pushing. After doing testing, you will notice certain patters. You will see what days are most profitable and which days are not as good in terms of ROI.

Small example: Pushing biz op offers works best over the weekends, since people have more time to research that kind of stuff then. So a lot of this comes down to a niche you are in.

SEO services dont work that well over the weekends.

Downside of PPC is that you have to be checking stuff everyday, unless you have someone who manages this stuff for you. (You woudl have to trust them with a lot of stuff in that case)

I do make some money from consulting, less now then back in the day.

Most is from pushing my own services and offers.

What amount of bankroll do you need to set aside to get a good
      profitable campaign off the ground?
Yeah, you are right . Many people have failed in PPC. Mostly due the fact that they just read some ebook and decided to try it out.

And secondly , because they have not spent enough money. They wasted $300 and campaign wasnt profitable and they thought that they failed. When in fact sometimes I lose $1000+ on testing and tweaking.

In terms of what niches to enter. This is kind of ambiguous answer: If you have been doing IM for long enough, you kind of have a good intuition. You have a gut feeling of what works and what doesnt. (not always obviously) But at the same time, if you have enough money to spend on trying and failing, then any niche that you know if profitable for others, will be profitable for you also if you have capital to compete and try it.

Panda is more related to SEO and natural rankings. Though I did experience some changes in regards to original content, before they started rolling out Panda.

Kind of off topic, but there will always be updates, and changes and slaps.
You can either whine and complain and not make money or you can just adapt and change and make money . Its that simple.

What kind of landing page works best with PPC advertising? Informational? Lead capturing? Sales pages? Thanks.
haha.. Thanks for standing up for me

Landing pages: Again depends on a niche and what angle you are pushing. If you are pushing web development services, obviously a very proffessional site is needed. If you are doing some weight loss story or a biz op offer where the angle is that you are a newbie and came into a lot of money then not so proffessional sites work best.

But for me the best landing pages with CPA have been where its hidden that you are trying to push CPA offer. Make the main goal of the website something entirely different , but in order to users to do this they need a complete an offer. I had a membership site for picking up women and teaching men skills how to interact with women and build confience, but one of the steps before registration that was recommended was making accounts on 4 dating sites. ($5 per registration was a commission) . So something like that works in every niche..

I normally dont run CPA offers that are on the low end. So everything from $15 payout upwards. And run a lot of services also.

Do you use The Content Network or the Search page or both? How do you feel about the offers telling you that you can get one penny clicks, fact or fiction. I know I have gotten some one penny clicks on The Content Network, but no conversions. Wondering if there is any way to find out what the problem is.

How do you get paid for your management of a company AdWords account and it is something a small time operator like myself could afford?
I use both search and content. I always start with search first. At the same time there are niches where there is almost no point in going both.

In terms of penny clicks. Everyone can get them, if target a lot of keywords and real long tier keywords, but more then often you will get into the problem of not converting.

Jason, dont be afraid to spend more money and waste money initially.

One of the best ways to getting paid for adwords account managment is to go to networking events. Or calling up businesses and offering them free $100 adwords credit. ( you can get free vouchers from Google) No one says that they are not interested, and once you set up stuff for them, you can start taking a retainer fee + 10% of the budget spent per month (I was on 2.5% with bigger names in industry)

Interaction is always far more interesting, and I would not know all the questions I need to answer. I think this is pretty good also and in sense more helpful, since I can address specific issues.

And I need to sleep also, hence the reason of unanswered questions.

For myself the biggest budget was $7300 per day. A certain niche exploded and there was a news story featured on this and I capitalized on it fast until other caught on.

You can do most of the stuff with free tools.

If you don´t get it then perhaps you need to take a step back and think for a while. Don´t go away though. Stick around and observe. You might learn a lot about Internet Marketing, and about life.

          Question for OP
CPA campaigns don´t last forever. Do you operate mainly within a favorite niche that you know well, making it easy to build a campaign, or do you build fresh projects in any niche going after new CPA campaigns?

I ask because I often feel chasing new CPA offers in various niches demands such extensive niche research

as I pointed out with the guy yesterday saying essentially that we were all fools paying 3 to 5 dollars per article and HE PAYS 10 dollars PER WORD to his writers, and he works for a famous magazine like Vogue or something

then others quickly pointed out that he is full of crap and his figures were off by 1000 percent

      dont believe everything you read...............
I believe the antagonizing/critique should start at least when the OP has already posted some of his advices... hey has the world become so mean for you that it is really so hard to believe that somebody just genuinely wants to offer help?... I don't know man....but they say you are what you think....
one can be analytical & 'civil' at the same time
and I agree with you there wolf...im sure the experts can immediately realize if he's just spreading fallacy.

With OP's experience it must be easy to land some more clients to run highly budgeted campaigns. I've seen some advertisements for PPC managing jobs in UK, where you required to be GAW certified before you can apply for the job.

I wonder if the OP has one. But I guess he doesn't need it.
