I'm curious how long it takes most of you to see your initial rankings with a brand new site. I've had some of them take a few days and others a few hours, and I was just curious what the average time it takes from when your site is indexed to ranking somewhere in the top 100 provided you have started your off page SEO?

It depends on many factors. For me most new websites start to rank slowly after 3 months. My best earning website took a year or so.

It depends i guess on your niche and your promotion.

Some sites take huge time to rank high on search results... Three factors paly a major role in improving your website rankings,
    - Quality of content published on your website
    - Quality of backlinks your website has got
    - Social media reputation of the website

i thinks if you want all the targeted keywords in top 10 for one website then taking 3 to 4 months time is good.

Most people say that you see the first results around three month after your started, but if you work on the SEO from the first day, you will definitely see some results before the 3 month.
