Weird Google Analytics and a slap

I have an exact keyword domain name which was listed at number 3 on page 1 of google for that keyword but now, after this last update, it is on page 18 (and google ads have been moved to page 18 also). For other keywords though the serp hasn't changed and I'm still on page 1. My traffic has stayed the same but in google analytics it says that my traffic increased 11,100.00% lol. What's going on and what should I do about it? Should I just wait it out?

How long ago was the slap?

If it's been a number of weeks, I don't think you should wait it out. It won't bounce back up unless you build new backlinks or optimize your content.

Also, are you surprised by the slap? E.g., is it understandable, based on your SEO efforts and the quality of your content, that your SERP has been demoted?

I just noticed it 2 days ago but I read somewhere here on WF that there was a panda update on October 14th. I don't think it's related to my content or SEO efforts because the contact page is listed on page 2 of google for that same keyword and that page doesn't have any content just an email form. The only thing that surprised me was that my site was only slapped for that keyword, other keywords are not affected. I thought whole websites were slapped not keywords.

The EMD with 'exact anchor text' seems to be risky these days. Maybe add a few additional words to backlinks and see if it moves. This type of keyword-only penalty is common, IMHO.
