Please Help

A friend of mine owns a company IdealBaby. com. He asked me to help him rank his site.

I started working on creating back-links since the site does not allow for much content and a couple of months into is we were around page 2 in Google for the 3 target keywords. But a couple of weeks ago we were removed from the rankings.

We were previously targeting different URL because of the way his site was structured but this is what we are targeting now:

idealbaby. com/Boy-Bedding_c_84.html for Baby Boy Bedding
idealbaby. com/Bouncers_c_251.html for Baby Bouncer
idealbaby. com/Convertible-Car-Seats_c_227.html for Baby Car Seat Covers

I'm trying to rank the individual keyword pages to hopefully increase sales.

If anyone has a chance, can you please take a look at this site and offer me some advice what you suggest we do to increase rankings.

    Some common link building faults include:

    - Too many keyword links pointing to the specific page
    50% of the links should be the home URL going to the Home Page

    - Link diversity. Are most of the new links coming from the same place?
    You need links from 7-10 different sources.

    - Build a blog on the Sub-Domain and link to it in the footer
    you now can create 2-3 pieces of content daily which Google loves.

    If you keep building high quality content, it is a big site, it will come back

    Also, just from an on page perspective, you've got 2 description and keyword tags in your source code.

    Have you looked at what your competition are doing and do a little bit better.

    You can check on and off page factors through products like Market Samurai.

    also, look at webmaster tools, and make sure you are submitting a dynamic xml sitemap.

    Finally as Nathan said, vary your link building techniques.
