Link emperor - Anyone looked at this?

hey- i signed up for the trial offer. I watched all the videos - it seems awesome to me - I WANT middlemen to handle this kind of stuff...but i cant get the keyword ideas to work, i pressed the "play" button to start my campaign, but its still not creating links...hows this site working for you?

I'm looking for partners to sign up for their Gladiator package. I was thinking to get 5 people (including myself) to split the $497 plan, which would give us 2 campaigns each.

I would sign up for the account and you could pay me via a PayPal subscription $100 per month. You could opt out any time, I could just get someone else to fill the slot. You would not receive a refund for the remainder of the month.

Very sorry to hear that you weren't happy with the service. It seems like 90% of your disappointments have to do with the appearance of quality within the links/articles you looked at, so I'll do my best to address that.

To start off, I have to be frank. You will not find high-quality, hand-written articles and link building for the prices our customers pay (well under a dollar per submission in most cases.) I know our plans are on the high side in terms of total dollars spent per month, but if you compare us to other link building providers on a verified link by link basis, you'll find that we are actually extremely cheap, but we sell in larger quantities than most other services, because we feel that this helps our customers to see better results.

We do our absolute best to have high-quality links in terms of MozRank and IP diversity and all sorts of technical factors, but often what our customers notice is the quality of the article or a couple random domains within the mix of all the other things we're doing. It is tough to make everybody happy, but we really do try our absolute best anyway, and when our vendors are slacking off they start getting drastically less business -- because we've designed an algorithm that detects all sorts of failures on their part.

What we advertise is the most fully-automated SEO tool in existence, one that you can set and forget and watch your rankings increase. We don't advertise the prettiest links, we advertise ones that work, and work well. You did say that your site improved in ranking, and that's what we pay attention to.

Now I can fully understand if you want to take a different approach with your clients, and that is perfectly justifiable if you need to show them a 100% clean link portfolio. In that case, I would recommend the use of buffer sites - backlinks to your backlinks. They're working better than ever these days.

But when it comes to the *actual* safety of our links, I personally have been blasting out an Emperor-level account directly to my personal websites for many months now and I've generally been using these tactics for years. Still going stronger than ever. These are not affiliate sites either, they're high-quality businesses that I depend on. The key is not to depend on any one gimmick. Press releases, social signals and just about everything you can get your hands on -- they're all important.

Please just recognize that different people have very different approaches to SEO, and though many people are scared these days by the Google propaganda (Penguin, Panda etc.) the fact is, Link Emperor is working better than ever before when it comes to bringing results. Even further, I believe we continuously get better at achieving our advertised goal of being the most hands-free and effective SEO software in existence.

Most concerning to me here is actually that you didn't get quick responses to support tickets when you sent them in. Judging by the timing of this post, I'd almost guarantee you were writing to us around the weekend that our customer support agent, Brett, was moving from one house to another. I assure you that we generally reply in well under 24 hours on business days, and we take a LOT of pride in the quality of our customer support. Many of our customers actually call Brett personally on the phone to ask for SEO advice, and you don't get that anywhere else! So I sincerely apologize for getting off on the wrong foot.

Now, I definitely understand if you're not interested in coming back. It's not for everyone. But I would consider the buffer site strategy if I were you, and if you'd like more details just send us a PM - it's extremely popular with our client-facing customers, and far more efficient than paying to have your links built by hand. ::shudder::

I only used them for approx 1 month. Actually pointed links to 2 sites (one large site, one small). The small one did improve in ranking, BUT Link Emperor was not the only thing I was doing.

They were very quick and polite on the refund however.

Thanks for your feedback. I am assuming that you are referring to the ability to separate out links from one site from the others. This is a feature that we do support, it is called Campaign Allocation. When you select this, you will be able to assign a percentage of your credits to each campaign and will only use landers/keywords from the campaign in the blasts.

That is correct, and that is the ONLY way you should use a tool like this IMO. Using it that way, however, works extremely well.

Thanks for the reply. I can understand how you wouldn't want a "guessing game".

With any linking service we understand there is some risk, however we provide a report for every link built so you can be sure and know what we are delivering.

The links we do provide in the Social Bookmarking, Private Network Blog Posts and Web 2.0 Properties, among the others too, are of high quality.

It is true that the quality of our links have improved a lot since the penguin updates began over a year ago and will only continue to improve with time.

We have a great competitive marketplace and we measure the link power, ip diversity, domain diversity, indexing rate and more for each service to make sure the links we provide you in each link type are the best available.

In short, we do make sure and provide you with everything we can so you do get quality and it's not a "guessing game" with your backlinks.

Apparently, you're not getting it. I don't want to make "gangster" profits. And don't want to deal with "gangster" companies either.

Do you guys plan on making any changes to the types of links provided post penquin 2.0 ?

Should a client be more selective over which types are allocated? or still trust in the service choices made for them?

This is a great question, I'm glad you have asked it, thank you.

Currently the Solder plan or our smallest plan is allocated 1000 link building credits a day. We want to be able to offer a very diverse link portfolio and links built everyday for our users.

This diversity and link velocity are very important factors. For this reason we do have a price cap on what vendors are allowed to charge for services.

If you are able to offer less links for less credits this is what we would suggest. We also try to send small portions of links built from several vendors so that links are NOT all coming from one place or are only one link type. This helps us build links from several different places on the internet rather than possibly leaving a footprint from using a "network" style linking program.

We also measure the diversity in ip's and domains used for this reason and send more orders to the vendors that offer higher quality links with more diversity in where they place links.

We do all this because it's what really helps provide great results!
