Other independent ad providers?

I recently found that google adsense has the tendency of disabling accounts out of the blue, with no detailed explanation other than their standardized "Your activities are compromising their ad system" letter

I've heard that there are also many other alternatives to choose from, such as adbrite, adserve etc.

What are your experiences with them?

Also do you need to go through a monitoring period, before u are an accepted publisher?

Google is not a monster which is going to disable your account without any cause..It is the best and will remain best..why you want other??Better is that you should make effort to get into google race and make yourself that much capable and innocent to google so that it never get chance to disable your account...dont use adsense untill you fulfill all its webmaster requirement and TOS...

Oh right, so I'm simply asking about other people's experiences with independent ad providers (obviously other than google adsense) for comparison purposes, and you just felt the need to throw in a redundant line to defend google and insult my integrity.

FYI, I'm running 2 blogs with consistent 50k views a month, racking up few hundred bucks in earnings as side-income. I know, not impressive but that doesn't mean I need to squeeze in few extra fraudulent clicks to inflate my earnings as per your half-assed assumption. Way to go at maturity, douchebag.

Google is still by far the best and has the best payouts in my opinion. As long as you follow the guidelines that they give you, then you will not have any problems. I have been running sites with them for years and have never had any issues. The best thing that I can tell you is to give them a try and see what you think.

Oh well then I guess sticking to google adsense is the way to go then. I was looking at the Yahoo equivalent i.e. Chitika and thought maybe some of you might be using them and therefore would have some knowledge of their rates.

      Thanks
