Please recommend adsense wordpress theme

I'm a newbie starting off and looking for a free adsense
wordpress theme.

The main reason is I want to someday
sell on flippa and hate paying the added developer cost
and requiring my buyer to pay for another license.

Or do you think I should just pay developer fee and get a good
paid for premium theme?

So if you can recommend a free theme and/or a great
paid for theme.

Thanks ahead of time!

IMO if there is a 30-50 dollar add on fee for developer license to sell on flippa
thats not what I would concentrate on, thats peanuts

I would be more concerned on how much the site MAKES , which will determine how much it will sell for on Flippa

I was thinking of going with clickbump but he wants an additional $129 plus the new buyer to pay $97. So I'm still looking around. But point taken. Probably spinning my wheels...

Hi Servent, I had thought we cleared this up over PM. Maybe you posted this before we talked?

The new buyer will only be required to pay $17 for a supported license to the software, not $97.

If you sell the site with ClickBump SEO! onboard, that's another $17. So, all in, $34 max, Not $97

You don't have to pay for a theme if You don't want to. You can use almost any free theme You like and change it to whatever You need.

That would actually be better if You are just starting out.

When using free themes and trying to edit them, You learn more about WordPress and what You can do with it. And when You know what You need from a theme, You can buy a premium one.

Here is one pretty popular free theme for adsense sites:

  • There is a reason people buy themes. because it's CHEAPER!

Everything is set up on the backend to make it easier to develop.

If your site is worth selling it's worth doing right. Unless of course your plan is to spend a lot of time making $10 sites.

Doesn't anyone ever use the forum search?

A new thread every single day on the same exact questions...

Yes, it's not really that difficult, everything you need is on Google search, that's how I learned html/php/wordpress code.

I prefer to build my own sites, that way I know what's going on with the code. I don't have to track anyone down for any answers.

My suggestion is start with very simple free wordpress themes, the simpler the better for Adsense.

A simple 1 column free wp theme like press purple can easily be tweaked, to be a good money maker.

You can find thousands of simple free themes that will get the job done. No sense in being limited to a handful of themes.

Plus the more you know about html/wordpress the better off you'll be long term.

Yukon, I do a search but it seems to me that I get so many threads to weed through that it take me way too long to find my answer. Maybe I'm not doing the search correctly? I try using quotes around my search to narrow it down but I don't think it's working.

Regarding learning the html etc I'd like to but to me that would be one more excuse to delay in massively getting my sites up and running. Funny, I have a programming background loooong time ago, but again, don't want to delay...

@outwest I heard the same about CTR themes. There is also CTR-themes and different company I stumbled upon and the themes look really nice but unsure about the support.

@tdot416 heatmap I've checked into and they seem interesting.

      Thanks for all the replies!

Yes, it works very well, it takes some of the load off of external backlinking (some not all).

I never made it a plugin I just hard coded everything in my themes. Maybe I'll clean everything up & put it in a wp-plugin, won't happen anytime soon I'm working on another big WP project right now.

A paid theme like Clickbump would easily pay for itself in no time with the increased CTR you'll get and the subsequent higher selling price if/when you go to sell it on Flippa...

HeatMap is the best adsense theme - it has alot of widgets that maximizes the location of adsense placement.

I know people have said it before but literally every theme can be great for adsense. Just put a 336x280 top left in the content and 160x600 in the sidebar.

ctrtheme.com and heatmaptheme.com seem really good for adsense. However, heatmaptheme.com has more options, templates, and versatility meaning you can put your ads pretty much anywhere with ease. I going to go with that!
