    Trying to get 'your' backlinks?

You mean you scrape web pages to get links from and you sell links (blog comments or something) from other people's sites and you think your competitor is buying your package so that he can see where the links you're offering are from?

I guess it depends on whether you have stated in your offer or terms of service that you reserve the right to refuse your service to certain people.

I wouldn't worry about it - take his money.

If he's that desperate that he needs to buy your lists rather than find his own, he won't be around for long anyway.

A customer is a customer. From what I understand, you can penalized from Fiverr for canceling an order.

If you have no way to differentiate yourself and you're not intending to continue offering things he doesn't - then your business will not last long.

If you don't keep moving forward - you will be moving backwards.

Don't worry about what he's doing - just focus on looking after your own customers and bringing new value to them.

It is very easy to register a new Fiverr account and get your backlinks. You will never know if the order is from your competitors. Why bother refusing this order. Accept the order and deliver the results as usual.

I would personally provide him the service. I have two websites and used to sell backlinks for one of them, he came through the first website and bought backlink for the other website, I personally delivered, since I provide a service and my competitor is not playing dirty games, I don't mind it.

    OP,
Happens to me multiple times a week. Report them to Fiverr support.

Report them to Fiverr support??? For what, they have not done anything wrong. If you offer a service and someone wants to pay you money for that service they have not done anything wrong.

If the OP thinks that the person is just trying to "get his links" he is probably right but the OP does not own an exculsive right to comment on someone else's blog (assuming that's where the links are coming from). It may not be the nicest thing in the world to do but there is nothing inherently wrong with it.

unfortunately there is not much you can do, there are loads of people reselling on fiverr, it's the risk you take.

    Fiverr is "meh."

What's to stop anyone from ordering a few backlink services, reverse engineering all of the backlinks, and offering a "mega" service? Nothing.

Quick tip. It's pretty easy to look at Fiverr comments, find people who've posted their URL, and check their backlinks. Chances are they've bought multiple backlink services from Fiverr or other places, giving you a ton of new sources for yourself.

Questionable? Sure, if you think so. But I have found an enormous amount of high quality backlink sources simply by reverse engineering other sites.

I wouldn't worry too much about someone trying to get your sources. It's pretty impossible to avoid. Just try and put a twist on your offer and differentiating yourself from them.

I would generally suggest against doing business with him, he may include your back links in his package and develop a better title, the last thing you want is to push business away because of it etc... just my two cents.

Use the competitions $5 to buy another exact backlink gig on fiverr, then send them on a wild goose chase, lol.

LOL, that's not too bad of an idea. But I still think "hiding" your sources from your competition is pretty unavoidable.

Im a top rated seller and my competitors buy off me all the time, I complete every order I receive and keep a close eye on the competition and systematically pick them apart. Just do the order and complete exactly as stated, drop your delivery time below his and offer that extra bit of service. Good luck

That's pretty much the best advice on here.
Take his money and then up the game so that he can't match you.

As others have said, any SEO service offered on Fiverr is easily replicable. If that's where you do business, that's what you have to deal with

    Love the idea.

BTW, not sure if you can reject it in Fiverr. Can you?

You can just purchase another link for your customers website from someone else.
