This morning I checked my website rankings and my websites that were affected by the panda update a month ago are back! They're just at a lower position than before. But they're back! Including one that was MIA for about 4 months.

Congrats on the return of your site. Did you make any notable changes to your sites? I'm sure warriors here would be interested to hear exactly what you did.

To be honest, I didn't do anything. I thought they were a lost cause. No new backlinks or content whatsoever! I did however remove most my of affiliate links and changed them to adsense sites. But that was done about a few weeks back. /shrug

Maybe Google just really loves adsense sites. That is kind of odd though...Did you ever have any theories about why they were knocked in the first place?

I have no idea. Maybe it was the affiliate links that were present above the fold? But they're back a few positions lower than they were before. I'm try to bet them back up to number 1 again.

Google doesn't favor adsense sites and google doesn't care about those affiliate links. This is how myths start. "Google favors AdSense. Google doesn't like affiliate links".

TIME is what caused it. just like being sandboxed. in fact, a sandbox is GOOD because google senses somethings happenin to your site. Many sites get sandboxed and then jump to page 1.

No they disappeared at the same time everyone else's site disappeared -- October 14th.

They were on page 1 before they disappeared and they were already sandboxed before... these sites are a year old or more.

    Very nice, congratulations!

I love the feeling of a sandboxed site making money again.

Are you planning to regain what have been lost from those sites? It would be much better if you will.

Most of mine haven't recovered since the panda update. In fact, some have moved even further down since the freshness update.

Maybe it was not Panda that got them knocked in the first place. Could have just been a coincidence that you got hit right around that time.
