How many keywords and How to Target Them

Hello Friends,
i am New to SEO So I hope you will not Mind to Help me to Solve Some of my Doubts.

1.Can you tell me How Much Keyword i can Target for one site?

2. i have WordPress site so can i target 3-4 Keywords at home page?

3. or can i target particular page Like categary / ipad 3 so can i target ipad 3 as Keyword from this page ...

Please Help me with this.

    You can target any number of keywords for a site. But you need to have in mind that your site should have a unique content for better ranking in search engines.

    You can focus on long tail keywords initially for your site and get ranked for those keywords and get ranked for more competitive keywords accordingly.

    In my point of view you can target maximum 4 keywords for a single page and this depends on the content u have in your site.

    Yes you can promote as many or as few keywords on a site as you like. To me it all depends on the traffic and whether it is worth the effort.

    I always target at least 5 keywords on a site but mostly more! If you were going for multiple keywords around products then I would have the product as the category and then the targetted keyword as the post title.

    Set your permalinks as /%catgory%/%postname%/ (think that's right) assuming you are using Wordpress. Then set up a category as ipad3 then have the post as ipad3 review or whatever the targeted keyword is.
