HMA VPN Vs. Squid Proxies?

I'm looking to run some automated tools and see that Hide My Ass has a special 1 month deal for $10 on their Pro VPN whereas I'm paying something like $24 a month for 10 proxies from Squid.

I've heard that VPNs are preferable over for using software like Xrumer and similar softwares. The price definitely seems to be much better; can anyone give some insight on why I shouldn't go for the VPN over the proxies for what I'm trying to do?

I ask because I feel as if I'm missing something when the VPN seems like a much better deal.

I've done both. Go with HMA VPN. You'll never look back.

If your looking for a replacement for the private proxy route to work with scrapebox or xrumer, HMA will not work well, most of the time not at all, with those types of applications.

Thanks for the input. I'm looking to using it with Magic Submitter at the moment and I believe it's what they use themselves but if someone has experience positive or negative using HMA VPN with MS I'd appreciate it.

HMA's VPN is great for scraping search data but I found it gave me a terribly low success rate for posting.

So for me either a VPN or shared proxies for scraping but nothing can replace private proxies for posting.

Very succinct and good to know if that would be true for me, as well. Thank you.

HMA is the market leader and there must be some genuine reasons for that..Ive used their proxy in the past and it was good..Never tried their VPN though. I am using another VPN service provider which has made itself some real good name in no time..In any case, I would recommend you to go for a VPN service as it is cheaper and definitely safer

I think they stopped allowing commenting with their proxies.

Hi, I think HMA is a better choice. I'm working with it almost an year and i can tell you that it's faster than proxies and i get excellent results.

    Definately VPN. Proxies are... unreliable.
