Link Count Fluctuating

Hey everyone.

So I have a new site and I've noticed that my link count fluctuates when doing links:url.com.

What gives? Is this normal? It's been fluctuating between 100-500 links throughout the day.

    Probably normal, stop worrying so much about the links and worry about the ranks.

    Before you worry about ranks make sure your site is ready

    But yeah I doubt it means much of anything just ignore it

    I wouldn't put to much emphasis on what the link count is. I have seen pages with few but very strong, high page rank backlinks that rank higher than the competitors site that has many low value links. Put some time into building high quality backlinks, instead of checking your link count, put that time into another link.
