Hi Alyessa, the most effective way to increase your adsense revenues is ofcourse to get more traffic but there are many ways to optimize your site in order to get more clicks on your adsense ads.

yes by doing white hat methods, one can work without worrying about penalizing, bye search engine, and increase the traffic more traffic means more clicks more clicks means more payouts.

On the page:

- blend your ads with your site
- use the same color for headings and adsense links
- use the recommended ad formats like the famous 300x300px format
- use the large font

Off page:

- promote your site cause obviously more traffic means more clicks
- write about profitable topics

There are only a couple things that matter when it comes to making money with adsense.

Traffic and CTR.

CTR is largely determined by your niche, but you can certainly test to optimize yours. I'd recommend keeping a very detailed journal of what you've changed during a test, and only change 1 thing at a time. You'll also need to drive enough traffic to it to make sure the test results are valid.

The second thing is traffic. You can improve your SEO, get social, or use any number of traffic generation methods for this part.

At the end of the day this is all it really comes down to.

You should focus on targeted traffic generation and once you are getting traffic, play around with your AdSense ads placements to increase the number of clicks.

As for traffic generation - if you are doing SEO, then commit yourself to working on it every day. Consistency is key, like I always say, so if you are not yet atop of the search results, focus on adding some quality fresh content and building backlinks and I'm sure you'll sooner or later achieve top positions.

I update posts time to time and share it to facebook and twitter , because i have lots of friends there. So is this enough or i have to do more extra activities?
