How do you prefer to do SEO

Do you guys prefer to do all the SEO work yourself or do you like to go through some company and do it? I myself like to go through a company. Right now I am working with a company called SubmitEdge and I have been really pleased. They have great customer service, pretty much 24/7 except for on Sunday it seems. The logs are also very detailed and they have a message board in your control panel where you can contact them or where they can post things to you. Anyways, what are you guys' thoughts about doing SEO?

My mother always said, if you want a job done well, do it yourself. I've found this to be true in SEO. Nobody puts in the time like I would myself.

It actually depends on issues like how knowledgeable you are about the whole SEO concepts as well as keywords selected. You know, when your site targets some light markets which are not very competitive and there are only a few competitors in the area, by doing SEO for even a short time like a couple of months, your site could have big chances of reaching top positions on Google and other search engines but in most cases niches are very competitive and hot actually.

It is sometimes recommended to get in touch with reputable agencies and firms that are moderated by experienced marketers who have been working on optimization jobs for years. They would be able to optimize the sites and build strong links for them. Of course budgetary issues too can be very important indeed because many people simply cannot afford the expenses and do not have thousands of dollars to spend over their custom SEO packs, so they would begin doing the jobs themselves.

According to me the only thing matters is results if you are getting results by your own efforts then their is no need of hiring company but if you are not able to get desired results you need to hire an company which can delicately work on your project to get desired results

I have actually been backing my SEO off a little bit lately.

If you launch a Wordpress blog, install the All-in-one-SEO or SEOPressor, write quality articles, network with other bloggers who link out dofollow using commentluv and keywordluv, you will do well if you stick with it and keep up your quality level.

Focus on quality content, networking and conversions.

Doing it yourself will only get you so far... Focus on your best, outsource the rest!

When it comes to scaling your business, automation is king. I run a private blog network that drips new articles at predictable and controlled velocities. Using spun content helps keep costs down. Internalizing that aspect of link building saves money, time, and really helps with respect to ranking hundreds of promoted URL's.

As far as content creation is concerned, that's outsourced to writers and managed through Basecamp. Additionally, when it comes to link building I use 8 different vendors that specialize specific areas. (XRumer, social bookmarks, web 2.0 profiles, etc.)

Simply put, if you're looking to make serious money (as an affiliate or agency) you will need to put your faith and trust in service providers to deliver.

I prefer to outsource my SEO to reputable companies, this allows me to concentrate on managing my business. However, I started out doing my own SEO through writing my own articles, regular blog posting, and commenting. After a while as people began coming into my business I found this difficult because it was too time consuming.

I'm currently using Total Content Domination, I'm new to this service on a recommendation from Stone Evans. While it can be difficult for some people to budget for SEO outsourcing, it is well worth squeezing your finances to find a budget. The free traffic that can be generated from SEO lasts a long time, and that's the payoff.

If you're in a position where you just can't find the finances to outsource, then do it yourself for sure.

First make sure you've done SEO on you site correctly, there's no point in rushing off to build back links if your site is not fully optimized. Get your site ready first then go after those back links through article submission, and blog commenting. Just make sure your comments actually contribute to the subject in question. Blog owners will love for this and will keep your link up forever

That's how I started, and although it's slower than outsourcing, "do it yourself" SEO does work.

Honestly the best answer is whatever will get you the best quality. That being said it also depends on what you are working on... for example is it a site you will have up for a long time that you really enjoy or do you want to flip it and make a quick buck.... If its not the latter I might do it myself, if it is the latter than I might outsource. But heck if someone can create the quality and you don't care that it's not your work, then I think you know the answer to that one

My SEO recipe is to use WP plugins, fiverr gigs and seo companies like Matt LaClear's to build backlinks. I have some software lke M. Samurai to drill down on keywords. Everything has it's strengths and weaknesesses.
