    Depends what niche it is in. If you find a hidden gem with lots of traffic and little competition, you can rank in about a week. That is hard to find though in my opinion. Usually a month or so.

    Fastest a new Adsense Site started producing?
    My last large site started earning with Adsense the same day it went live.

    I have two other large sites in the same niche as the newer 3rd site. I added links on the two old sites pointing at the new 3rd site & it's instant targeted traffic since all 3 sites are in the same niche. The traffic is like flipping a light switch On/Off.

    From a traffics point of view If all my sites are in the same niche, they are interested in more related content on sites A, B, & C.

      Didn't you know that you can't link sites together that you own. You will get your account banned and a big google penalty.

        The last site didn't have much, maybe 20+ pages of content, when it first went live.

        I didn't care about the SERPs, I just needed enough content so my existing traffic from the other two sites wouldn't think they just entered a ghost town.

        That sites at maybe 450-500 pages now.

    When making brand new sites, I take my time spreading out the backlinks so I'd say 1-2 months average.

    this was a fluke "but" over a hundred dollars a day with in 4 days for a bla,bla,bla-coupon.com site

    the second (this one not a fluke) was a people search site (you seen it on tv) traffic came from yahoo and bing and with in 2 days started making 5bucks a day.

    Not sure what you would define as "decent income", but I've had sites earn money in as little as 3 days. Nothing wild or crazy, but consistent earnings from that point forward. Like anything else, however, there are a lot of variables that will determine how fast your site will start generating an income, so everyone's situation will be a little different.

    It all depends on the niche and the keywords that you are trying rank for. After about a week or two you I can normally start ranking well and it will make money. It feels like a site always takes a little while to ramp up to full earning potential and show the most relevant ads.
