Someone told me in a post a while back about longtail keywords.
So I added a couple of pages to my site. This is one of them.
Samsung LED LCD Plasma 3d TV's at Qpricing

Would a page like this help? I made it a discount 30% off page.
I figure if it does work, I would make a few a day.

The reason is because is seems like my site is up with Google one day then down the next. I Appreciate your input in advance.

I think it would make a good landing page. Who doesn't like discounts? With 30 percent off they would sure check around if they were interested.

      Thanks Absolute Logo,

Do you think it is something Google would like as well?

Nice site, is that built on a custom platform?

In regards to your question, I like the landing page, however, I would recommend adding a bit of content if possible, about the product in question. At least a paragraph or two using the keyword you are targeting. That would make it better for Google as it would give them so related text to feed on.

Thanks patrich, That is a great idea. Should it be more of a review or justabout the product itself?

I "think" patrich is suggesting have a blurb of text about the product itself (so SEO-wise, Google tags it as relevant to whichever product has the keyword; but that doesn't necessarily make it consistent since demand might change, but for now that should do it). Reviews don't hurt either though.

The page looks good, but I have a few comments. The page targets Samsung LED, LCD, Plasma, and 3d TV's. Yet, it includes various accessories. If I was a visitor who searched the term Samsung LED and arrived at a page with speakers, mounts, and keyboards on the page, I might turn around and find another page. I would remove the accessories and include them on their own page.

Also, you are targeting several keywords all on one page, i.e., Samsung LED, Samsung LCD, Samsung Plasma, and Samsung 3d TV. This will make it more challenging to optimize for each keyword. If there are enough products under each category, I would make pages directed to each keyword.

Also, consider the competition for each keyword that you are targeting. The keyword Samsung LCD has a difficulty rating of 58% according to SEOmoz (3600 local searches). Samsung Plasma is 53% with 4,400 local searches. Are these numbers you are comfortable tackling?

The phrase Samsung LED, LCD, Plasma, and 3d TV's gets zero searches a month. However, it is a keyword rich title and will help some in ranking some of the terms in the title.

Bambu thanks for pointing that out. I redid the page. It still has an item or two. It pulls from a data base and it dynamic.
I am trying to figure out what to write on the page about the item. I have several pages like this one. I am gonna add a few a day. They do get decent traffic. Soon as someone hears up to 50% off, they want to see it.

The page you showed to us lacks content. Your chances of ranking for any of your longer-tail keywords are not too high, if you don't have any content on the page.

I would add at least 500 words of unique high-quality content about the TVs beneath the block of TVs.

It is awesome you are getting traffic. Commissions on these big tickets items must be pretty nice :-) Has the site made any sales yet?

Thanks Bambu, This is a PPC site. I get paid when someone redirects to any store whether they purchase or not. But if they purchase, the PPC goes up.

Definitely add more content Google like sites with a lot of content on pages and if you want to rank for long tail keywords you need a lot of content at least 600 - 1000 per page.

    Cheers

As already stated above, you do need to add content. look for around a 1000 words below the fold. This will give the old googlebot somthing to get its teeth into.Look for a keyword density around 2%.

What should I write. 1000 words would be ok if i was writing for one product. I could put specs and stuff like that? Ideas please, thanks in advance.

Thanks Steven, Should I add this above the ads or below? I'm the closer to the top for seo the better right?

You don't have to add a very long content for that page. It almost meet the users' needs when it comes to TVs.

I suggest to make a little bit description for each of the TV. Let's say, you will specified some features of each units such as it's specs, the quality of the color, durability etc. That would help.

I don't suggest putting a long content because your customers will not waste their time in reading long contents. Making a description of each product will not take 500 words or above. Just provide what users are looking for when it comes to TVs. Make a straight stab with the products and make your customer satisfied.
