Keyword Density is how many times in your article your keyword come up, for example if you have 600 words article, how many times you put keyword in this article is keyword density 1-2% is the way to go, don't go over 3% since Google is very sensitive about this and if your over optimise your website it will look like spam.

Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page. In the context of search engine optimization keyword density can be used as a factor in determining whether a web page is relevant to a specified keyword or keyword phrase.

Keyword density is how often your keyword is used in your article. I use a SEO plugin for wordpress that gives my articles an overall SEO sore for each article and it also gives keyword density. Keyword density should generally be 1 to 4%

Keyword density is like calculation when you count the percentage of a keyword repeated on a specific web page. That is keyword density. As per i found by experience the optimum keyword density is 1-3%.

Keyword density is a combination of the number of times a keyword or a keyword phrase, in proportion with other words, appears on a Web page. The more times the keyword appears in relation to the total number of on page words, the greater the overall keyword density. The more times that other words appear, the lower the proportion of keywords, resulting in a lighter keyword density.

I see guys above have already answered your question. But I would like to add a little; you can use a tool to check keyword density of your keywords on a page of your choice. This is the tool I am talking about:

    Free Keyword Density Analyzer Tool

It's free to use and is a creation of SEOBook. I can recommend all their tools, they are all great.

The number of times your keyword appears in the article.. it is usually around 2-4%... Make sure your content doesn't get flooded with keywords.... coz google is really really serious about it and can consider it as a SPAM

Keyword page density is a measure of the frequency of the word or phrase in the contents that appear in the web page. It is expressed as a percentage. For example, if a specific word is used 5 times on a page containing 100 words, the keyword density is 5%. If the density of a keyword is too low, the search engine will not pay much attention to it. If the density is too high, the search engine may activate its spam filter. If this happens, the page will be penalized and its position in search listings will be deliberately lowered.
