How to Speed Up Market Samurai

Quick tip for those of you who are newer to Market Samurai. When running SEO competition reports, unclick the Google Cache Age, DMOZ and Yahoo boxes. If you have a good XML sitemap your competitors cache age won't matter; if you're not in DMOZ you're not getting in any time soon, and you can't get into Yahoo anymore. Further, links from those two sources alone are not ultimate deciding factors regarding your chances of ranking in the SERPs. Good luck!

    Though MS has always been pretty slow, no matter the module. I thought I'd give the trial a go again today and it seems to have improved a tad. However, the font rendering seems to be pretty terrible. I know it's a strange thing to nit-pick. But it looks awful. Incredibly fuzzy and grainy.

    I have been having a ton of issues with the rank tracker in the last 4 days. Kind of frustrating that it is not working properly with false data or none at all.

      The Market Samurai keyword research tool has not been working for me today...the SEO competition tool is working for some reason. Go figure..

    I never use their kw research tool, it takes 10 mins to do one kw, Why use MS for that? kw research? just use Google Kw tool..........................its 100 times faster



    the SEO analyzer though? top 10 google competiton?

    only takes like 15 to 20 secs at max
    I always unclick about 70 percent of the factorsI
    leave open all the ONPAGE SEO factors

    then PR, Domain Age (DA) , Backlinks to PAGE (BP) And a couple more is the only stuff I leave checked

      Yeah, just realized I could generate those 800 KWs through Google WAY faster and then copy/paste. And yes as I'm learning more I've realized DA, PR , BLP and onsite are the only criteria really worth analyzing. From there run an anchor text analysis and make a decision!

    Market Samurai has periods when some features may not work correctly. They are usually getting corrected in 1-2 days. I can easily remember several cases like that. Sometimes problems happening at the same time when Google is doing some 'update', sometimes it is just plain mystery . I am still using it and still find it helpful, though.
