So I've set up a Adwords account. I've heard a lot about Adwords coupons floating around. Somehow I am not able to find any codes out there and I'm not sure how I receive them.
Is this something I can apply for at Google or how does this work?

You can find some Adwords coupon codes at Digital Point Forums. There's a section that sellers are selling bunch of valid Adwords coupons there, but be careful on who you're dealing with. Just look at their iTrader and feedback from their customers before buying.

The "legit" method sounds better, I'l try that first and see if I qualify as I don't live in the States.

Can't Google tell if you've bought these codes and suspend you?

I'm not sure but I don't think so...The reason is I use to get them in the mail every time I put a business on google maps. So I would apply the code to "my" adwords account. The only thing they did do was charge me I think 20bucks for some kind of transfer fee. A matter of fact I have three setting on my desk that I have not used yet.

Let me take a look see....
well shi** the first one has expired.
well shi** again the second ones expired
I got a trifecta! all three has expired!

Lesson learned- Use 'm or lose 'm

Have you checked with your hosting company? Bluehost.com, for example, offers these...

Thanks, I'll contact hostdeal.com but compared to the rest of their service, I highly doubt they offer anything beneficial to their customers.

You shouldn't even have to bother with contacting your hosting company. Just go to your cpanel - most hosting services list Google Adword promotions in there as a promotion. If you see the icon, just click on it and it should open a new window for the Google Adwords program.
I would first suggest you get educated about the thought process necessary in order to succeed with a Google Adwords campaign. As you may know, Perry Marshall is the Go-to guy for this sort of advertising.
        Just my 2 cents.

    Nope, nothing in cPanel.
I guess I'll try putting it on Google Maps

I'll have a look at Perry Marshall. It's been a while since I was last in IM so it's a good idea to brush up on Adwords tactics.
