Add your site to google webmaster tools, add sitemap.xml and yoursite/rss to sitemap section, also create analytics account and the code. It should be indexed within 2 weeks max.

I use ping.fm to help index my sites. Tweeting 35 posts should have some kind of results I would think. Social adr is awesome at getting sites indexed. Highly recommended for indexing. $7 bucks isn't bad for indexing purposes. Ping-o-matic should be pinged as well. If you do all of those you should be indexed in a couple of hours at the latest.

I assume it is an XML sitemap you have submitted to Google? Have you double-checked that you do not have canonical, noindex, nofollow, robots.txt or duplicate content problems?

You could also try make a HTML sitemap and get some inbound links to that.

    Regards,
You do not say if you have uploaded the sitemap in webmaster tools or not, this would be helpful in identifying your problem. Of note is that just by setting up a blog in blogger with a link to your site should have got your site indexed by now, particularly if you use ping-o-matic as one of the others has suggested. More info for us, equals more help we can offer.

Create account in google webmaster tools. Add and submit your sitemap.xml file. Because the google crawler does not crawl the all pages. so submit sitemap is the best way to inform about the details of all pages to index the pages by google.

Is it a Wordpress blog? If so, make sure you are not restricting search engines from visiting your site within the "Privacy" section within your WP account interface. If you are, it puts a disallow order to your robots.txt, which restricts search engines from crawling the website.

Other than that, make sure to be pinging your website every now and then to increase chances of getting indexed fast. You can use Pingfarm or Pingomatic for this purpose (Pingfarm is well used to ping many pages at once).

Also, keep building backlinks, keep the momentum, don't just stop and wait for the results. This is the most important piece of advice I can give you

Create a blog with unique content and ping the blog and make some changes to the website as well and then ping the website as well. Try http://www.domainname.com on google and if your site appears, you can be happy that you will be indexed for sure but patience is very much important in terms of seo.

    Regards,
Several methods that used to work well in the past are no longer effective. I have no idea why... I can only assume that they were abused to some extent and that Google caught on.

Social bookmarking is not very effective (based on my testing) to get a site indexed, with the exception of two networks that still work very well. The same can be said of Twitter. It used to be quick and easy to get a new site indexed by just tweeting about it. This is no longer the case.

So, your disappointing results are not that unusual for a new site. Not good but not unusual.

Perhaps you bought a domain that was previously banned/deindexed by Google? Happened to me with a couple of EMDs that I thought were great finds at the time.

    Reasons Why A Website Isn't Indexed :

-- No Inbound Links To The Site
-- Site Blocked By The robots.txt File
-- Site Blocked By robots <META> Tag
    -- Server And DNS Problems
    -- Frame-Forwarded Domain
    -- Poorly Constructed Web-pages

better work on above factors & try to get positive results.

There's no real way to help you given the absense of the domain name.

    Without that, we're all guessing.
