newbie question about backlinks

hello all , my question is probably a newb question , but i was curious about the backlink services provided from people on fiverr , are they actually legit ? i mean i know you get what you pay for but does anybody ever use these services , link pyramids for 5 bucs ? anyways thank you guys for having patience for a newb.

People use em all the time. If you know what you're doing, and have a strategy they can play a role. If a random guy on fiverr is your strategy, well then you're probably not going to have much luck.

At the moment I prefer to have control over my links, but this is something I may be looking to outsource in the future and would consider giving Fiverr a go.

In order for you to know if that Fiverr gig is legitimate, you just take your time in reading the customer reviews of that gig....or if that gig has a "top-rated seller' badge.
