Simple Way to Check Private Blog Links and Index Rates

I know a lot of people here use a number of different private blog network services as a part of their backlink building plan. Whether you use a service or order links from someone who runs their own small network, a lot of places tend NOT to give out the URL's of where their links reside to protect their network.

Since a lot of places and service providers don't share this info, I found a simple way to check whether or not links have been indexed. Although it is a manual process and can take a little time, it helps me to verify whether or not I am actually getting what I paid for. So, if a site claims to use sites with PR2-5 and I find my links scattered across PR0, I know to kick that service to the curb.

Here's how to see what has been indexed:

- Pick a full sentence out of the content that was submitted and copy/paste into the Google search bar with "quotes" around it.

- You should see at least one result come up, showing your article. If you see another result, that is due to that link being indexed on the homepage, too.

- Grab the homepage URL and go to a site like prchecker.info to verify the PR.

- Continue through this process to verify what has been indexed and what hasn't.

BMR uses this same process to verify their indexing rates, but they are the only one's that I know of who do it. While I know networks try to "protect" their sites, I could care less about what they do - I just want to verify the PR and that the links were actually indexed.

So, if you write and submit unique content to various networks that don't give you an option to track your links, give this a shot when you have some spare time.

You can kind of do this in ScrapeBox too - if you want an automated process.
