I was wondering is google analytics would affect our SEO success....

It knows our sites' bounce rates, returning visitors...

Would it benefit sites with low bounce rates, or even sites with a high number of returning visitors ?

I was wondering if it's time to remove analytics from my sites... Do you agree ?

No, analytics is a valuable tool to see where your traffic is coming from. Focus on your weakest traffic areas.

Use Analytics as your basis in your SEO campaign. For example, it will show you the pages which has a very high bouncerate. With that, you can modify that certain page so that it will somehow minimize your bouncerate. Analytics has nothing to do with your rankings.

Analytics does not affect SEO directly (apparently) but if you use the data correctly it should affect you in the way you implement your SEO strategy and the targets etc. So indirectly it can.

Google analytic allows you to track and analyze from where the traffic is coming to your site. It is important to know the performance of your site in this online competitive world. It is easy to manage data if you have multiple sites using Google analytic.

Duplicate content URLs do affect the SEO implementation But Google does not require Google Analytics to report the duplicate content problem. Google's crawler is intelligent enough to detect this problem and Google Analytics provides the ease and better understanding for the user. On the other hand, Google too uses the data from Analytics.

Personally I stopped using Google analytics as my rankings did dorp like a stone.

I was using the analytics plugin. It may of course be a coincidence but i don't think so, not over several sites.

After stopping using it my rankings returned.

Google analytics directly can not affect your site results as it is only the tool through which you can know that from which your site get traffic, and if less traffic and high bounce rate you can see in the results then by doing more effort you can turn those results in to good one. so if you take your analytics results into positive one and try more then you will get better for your site but one thing that analytics not affect the site results as it is just the medium to know the results.
