domains and copyrights

is it ok to make those amazon review sites and buy exact domain name for it ?
for example samsung-x500.com, wont it break the copyrights ?
I thought domain with brand names are not allowed by the brand owners like nike-shoes.com

Sometimes you will get a little email in your inbox telling you that you must take it down because you are evil.

Often, it is not pursued by companies though.
