I have two sites each have 35k to 40K in trafic, currently I am using Adsence and I average $200 a month. This seems a bit low and I feel like they could be monetized better. I thought about using a different PPC or maybe another ad network all together. Please let me know your thoughts...Thanks

Maybe it's because your ads are on bad places maybe it's not bad result but I can offer you infolinks for additional income it will be fine if you get additional income from there too and how I know Google doesn't have any problem with infolinks.

Optimize the ads. Try one 300 block in-content and see if it improves. That's enough traffic to make more money in almost any niche with Adsense, IMHO.

Try selling Clickbank products. That did the trick for me on one of my websites pulling in little money from Adsense. Promote related products on your websites through pop-ups, the sidebar and probably a "store" page on your website.

Maybe you should try with some CPM networks, because there is no better than adsense in cpc field.

I have checked the load times with Webmaster tools and I am not having any problems that I can see.

I would recommend CPA for your wallpaper sites, you can use a content locker to make the people do a simple zip submit to download a wall paper, and with the traffic you are receiving you should be able to do much better than what you are with adsense.

One of the best places is the CPA forum right here: Ad Networks - CPA, CPM, CPL - Millionaire Makers..

CPA is about having people do simple actions in exchange for what they want, and in your case, your wallpapers, and many will not hesitate to enter their email once, or their zip code, to download a wallpaper, and many offers pay $1.50 or more per email or zip submit. So with your 30-40 thousand visitors, if you got say 3% to do the submit, which with proper layout, is easily do-able you would be around $1500/month for each site, granted it will take split testing and effort to figure out what your visitors are willing to do, and do consistantly. You may notice your income varies alot. But once you get a working combination, you can scale it.

One of the easiest to get accepted for is NeverBlue. However since your getting started you might also try Blamads, because they offer Content Locking, which means you will be able to let your visitors look at your site for a couple seconds then a pop up comes up that they have to do the action(enter their email, zip) in order to use your site. I would recommend testing alot of different options to figure out what works best. Plus you can leave your adsense in place, to spread your income out.

This could work very well, I just rebuilt both of these sites. Windows7 had hundreds of thousands of downloads.

If you take the time to research it, and test the options, you have every chance of doing much better with it, than you ever would with Adsense, because typically Wallpaper searchers, want things for free, and many CPA offers will appeal to that need.

Thank you VM I will give this a spin. I have had some fantastic sites in the past all of them adsence based. With Google becoming ban happy I want to have a backup plan.
