How to Unpenalize a Website

This happened to me not to long ago and my website came back a week later - Could be a google dance ?

You can never blast your money site with software and make it look natural - if you do want to blast something with the software then blast a tier 1 backlink thats directed to your website (like a 2.0 profile or blog).

You can also apply to be unpenalized from google webmaster tools (free) but you need to sign up an account.

To be penalized you would need much more then only 7 links per day. My advice is don't worry too much about it they will bounce back, they always do.

Google Dance....don't stop building links, just keep on doing what you're doing and you'll be fine.

New sites initially do well in the SERPS then drop. Just keep working on it naturally and things will work out alright.

Lastly, I'd like to know how each of you define "Natural" linkbuilding. Since I'll be using Magic, please advise.

De-indexing usually only happens where a site is doing massive outbound linking (link farms) or where there is a combination of negative factors like: Very low quality content and layout, linking to and from 'bad/spammy neighbourhoods', and bad advertising/legal practices etc.

Penalisation normally happens from over-optimisation of keyword terms, and usually only affects those specific search terms. i.e. You've built hundreds or thousands of links to a new site, all with the same exact anchor text, which is also in the site URL (An EMD/PMD - or Exact/Phrase Match Domain), and it's in the Page Title, H1 tags and loaded into the content too. This is the ideal example of a newbie mistake in online marketing; thinking that more is better.

A 'Google Slap' is the industry lingo for either a broad sweeping change/update in their algorithm which affects a lot of sites, or when a single person/business gets hit by Google for practices they consider outside of their TOS (Terms Of Service), and this is often associated with the AdSense program and AdSense sites.

The key with all automated link-building is diversity; you need diversity in IP, platform/CMS, anchor text, content, URL/domains used, submission timing, and so on...

You're trying to create the situation where every submission looks like a single, manual one, yet still use tools to power-up the volume.

If you truly have been penalised on a keyword phrase then building steady content-based links with a wide variety of anchor texts will usually de-optimise the phrase and remove the penalisation.

Had this happen to me once. Google Webmaster Tools helped me fix the issues with my site but, it took time. I keep on with consistent quality link building, good content, plus fixing the issues popping up in my GWT account and after a couple of weeks, I was back on their good side.

Paid links do work, and so do many of the black hat SEO tactics. The problem is, when they stop working, you don’t drop in the rankings, you get removed, or penalized so severely you cannot recover. The white/grey SEO takes longer, but it also lasts longer and is less susceptible to latest Google algorithm(penguin) updates.

Ummm Mr DataGenis. You do realize the thread you replied to is almost 2 years old?

If the WF admins want to start deleting old threads or closing them, they can do that. Until that happens, any thread is fair game for a reply, no matter how old.

It can just be Google dance. But just to be safe try to remove all low ranking/bad links you built with magic submitter. If you have a tool to check your backlinks, you can see the backlinks of your site and remove all low quality links. You can try Traffic Travis to check for your backlinks.

Then of course, just concentrate on building more links, focus on high page rank sites only. You can still use magic submitter but I suggest to use this with caution. Do not automate everything. It is still best that you also do manual backlinking and be active in social media sites. Good luck!
