Finally, A Completed Fiverr Case Study.

So I have started and witnessed numerous threads on Fiverr. Most of them go something like this:

"For the next ___insert time period__ I will be building links using only Fiverr and track my results on the Warrior Forum"

For this thread however, I will just reveal the results so you all don't have to wait to see! I just posted the graphs from the case study on my blog, and I wanted to relay all the info here to all the savage warriors out there. Here it goes:

I used a varitey of keywords. AKA Old Domains, New Domains, Old Pages New Pages. They looked like this:

KW A - Medium/High Competition, 5400 Exact Searches Per Month, Posted About 6 Months Ago On A 1 Year Old Domain. Starting rank - 12
KW B - Medium Competition, 1300 Exact Searches Per Month, Posted About 6 Months Ago On The Same 1 Year Old Domain. Starting rank - 30
KW C - High Competition, 12,000 Exact Searches Per Month, Posted About 3 Months Ago On The Same 1 Year Old Domain. Starting rank - 12
KW D - Low Competition, 100 Exact Searches Per Month, Posted About 2 Months Ago On The Same 1 Year Old Domain. Starting rank - Unranked.
KW E - Low/Medium Competition, 300 Exact Searches Per Month, Posted 2 Months Ago On A Brand New Exact Matching Domain. Starting Rank - Unranked.


Gigs Used:

1. Article Marketing Gig - A gig that offered article marketing services.
2. Social Bookmarking Gig - A gig helping in social bookmark indexing.
3. Twitter Tweet Gig - A gig that offered to promote a site to 1000′s of followers. (IE social proof)
4. High PR Profile Links - Gig promised backlinks on forum profiles.
5. Comment Backlinks - Gig offers a blog commenting service.
6. Backlink Pyramid Gig - Gig offered a backlink pyramid through forum profiles.

On Site Optimization:
-KW used in title
-KW used 2-3 times in the post, once bold.
-KW used in a heading.
-KW used in an image tag.

Results:

Used the AM Gig and the Profile Backlink Gig.
Starting rank - 12
Ending rank - 6
SUCCESS

KW B

Used the AM Gig only.
Starting rank - 30
Ending rank - 7.
HMM.. I Like The AM GIG!

KW C

Used AM Gig with the backlink pyramid gig.
Starting rank - 12
Ending rank - 50
Can't win em all.

KW D

Used AM Gig (yes I like this one) and Blog Comments gig.
Starting rank - 16
Ending rank - 6
SUCCESS

KW E

Used social bookmarking gig, then twitter gig, then AM gig.
Starting Rank - 100
Ending Rank - 12
Not too shabby...

CONCLUSION

Looks like Fiverr can work. Especially for low competition keywords. Any questions? I will try my best to answer but don't get mad if it takes a couple days. I'm traveling.
