Do you spin articles?
I am just putting like a 250 word post on the blog, dont know any other way, with some nice text font and colors and photos, dont want them to delete it. Guess it takes me about 15 mins per backlink, too time consuming.

You guys just spin articles?

If you are planning to post on a number of web 2.0 sites for example 5 or more, then write 1 unique article and rewrite it entirely into 5 by spinning. I suggest you rewrite sentences rather than spinning words.

Go through each article variation after spinning and make sure the quality is maintained. If possible add few unique sentences here and there, upload photos, etc. Then post on those blogs.

This will lessen the chances of your web2.0 blogs getting deleted as you will be posting interesting and unique content.

It might be time consuming but I feel its worth it. If you come up with a plan say weekly 1 article on those web2.0 blogs, in course of time you will be having good, relevant and content rich web 2.0 blogs pointing to your website.

I believe quality wins over quantity of backlinks.

So far I just hand write about 300 words or so on each blog, seems to not be being deleted.

But I dont want to go in an constantly update those blogs, just to have 1 backlink. Rather do some fiverr gigs, I dont have time to spend 20 mins per week on a 2.0 blog

After Panda Algorithmic Update, Article Spinning is simply useless! Spinning removes the essence of article completely, there are lot of grammatical mistakes also there due to spinning!

Most of the web 2.0 sites like hub pages & Squidoo are not accepting spinned articles! so its batter approach to submit unique quality short articles in web 2.0 sites!!

To start with write longer articles, then rewrite each sentence, spin word/phrase level to each sentence and then spin them together to give one big article. Then you can produce 20-30 90%+ unique articles and use them all. This will save you a lot of time.

If you do not spin then it is going to take ages to create links.

Also, place more than 1 article on the web 2.0s and do not place any links initially. Leave it about a week to ten days and go back and place links.

I am not going to go hand write 500 word articles for one backlink each on web web2.0 and wait 10 days to add links. I have tons of new blogs with links added the first day, been there 2 weeks have not been deleted. Do you seriously think they go in and hand view each new blog? and search for links?

I only put like 2 links on each one though

You telling me you guys sit there and type 400 500 word articles, (unique not spun) for 1 backlink per article? Sounds like a huge time waster to me

Heck for 5 bucks you can get 200 social bookmark backlinks on fiverr, how long would that take typing a 500 word unique article per each backlink?

One of the things I do (especially with wordpress.com blogs) is use a theme that doesn't underline the links, and then I change the font color of the link to match the text. usually that color, for the theme I use is 333333. That way the links aren't visible to the casual reader.

Also, my new tactic is to create REAL websites and blogs (aiming for one a day), around the basic topic of the money site. These sites have no ads but they do have natural links to authority sites on the topic (not competing for my particular keywords).

I may be wrong but I believe 1 link from a serious website on the basic topic carries more weight than all the 1 post blogs I've thrown up in the past.

Don't go all time wasters on me!!

I was just giving a suggested alternative as it appeared from the OP that you had issues with links being deleted. To me spending 15 mins for 1 link is wasting time!! I can write a 500 word article and rewrite it in 30 mins so this would equate to 1 minute per article, then post on a web 2.0 x 30, this is clearly a lot quicker than the way you are doing it!!

Yes clearly the way I am doing it, though not having them deleted, (they are not being deleted) is way too time consuming

then you have guys saying, oh no you cant spin articles thats old school, thats not acceptable, write unique 500 word articles, well those dont get deleted but IMO thats just unacceptable time wise,

If I can do a fiver gig for 5 bucks with 200 social bookmarks, and that takes me what? 5 minutes?
Why would I spend 15 minutes for EACH backlink writing unique articles on web 2.0 blogs?
sure those might be better backlinks but come on?

rather find auto approve blogs with scrapebox or something that have decent PR
seeems to be a much more worthwhile use of my time

Clearly you ask for opinion and advice and then don't want it???

Bookmarks are a short term investment as it lets SEs know hey this site is getting talked about. They give a good boost but they need to be made quite regularly. Whereas web 2.0s are a longer standing link. Although both of these methods need to be part of a good diverse back linking strategy.

I would suggest you write one or two unique articles then spin them at sentence level to get several unique articles. It is always best to work with articles that are as unique as possible.

Submitting articles on web 2.0 must be unique for the best way in acquiring quality links. But if you want to save your time, better rewrite it and make sure it’s not a duplicate content. I find it effective!
