How to use $300 for backlinking

Im brewing in my brain how to use my budget of $300 for link building. My keyword is page 1 position 10 and Im trying to now do some heavy backlinking. I dont want to fall for a scam, being new to all of this. I have a guy that wants to offer 1000 links for $200, using all types of blogs, link wheel, etc. These links are guaranteed. With the remaining $100 I want to use BMR articles. Anyone have any opinion on this, the 1000 links makes me slightly suspicious but I did speak with him over the phone and he seems very knowleadgable and provides reports.

    Hey Richard,

    I would be careful with the 1000 links thing as this could affect the velocity of links to your site. Do you have a lot of links already pointing? If so then this would be ok but there is a probability that a lot are spammy links and would probably give a boost but when they are deleted then you will slip back down. I would pay for individual bits of work rather than giving most of my money to one guy.

    So get some web2.0 properties made and then send some links to them, get some social bookmarking and maybe even subscribe to a homepage backlink membership. I hear BMR have closed to new members so not sure if you are already a member there or if not looks like this may not be an option.

    Make sure whatever you pay for you get some kind of report do you can check the links.

      It all depends on your current backlink profile. Do you currently have a nice variety of backlinks pointing at your site? If so, buy some High PR permanent homepage blog posts, a private network blog package, and some .edu/.gov links. Drip all of these to your site over the course of a month. This should bring you up the rankings on the first page.

      If you have jack **** for a back link profile, start with a few hundred social bookmark and directory submissions (fiverr is good for this), manually submit about 20 articles to article directories, and get a GOOD press release.

    Ive started social bookmarking with socialadr and its been dripping, I dont know what "alot" or a little is in regards to backlinks, right now the site has about 130 backlinks according to majestic. Im going to check fiverr, when you guys say check fiverr, you mean someone thats offering for example a 10.00 linkvana run or something of the sort? What type of fiverr gigs exactly? I do have a active BMR account so I will still be pushing $100 worth of articles through that.

    As OUTCAST said: try using Fiverr gigs.
    But remember:
    - do not build many backlinks in short period of time, its better to do it slowly
    - if you have 300 USD I would buy different types of backlinks from different sources. The best would be to buy submission to blog networks and article directories. These are the most valuable links because they are contextual, and whey you will buy from 8-10 different networks you will build really good link profile from many different IP and domains.
    - don't spend it at once, it better to plan ahead

    so I guess blog linkbuilding which Im doing through (BMR) and social linking (socialadr), sounds like article/directory building is next and some .edu/.gov
