Well this will fix it for Firefox and I'm not sure about others but if you wish to find out and post here I can add it this.
Anyways I was writing on iWriter with about 400 words done out of 500 and when I returned to the page and press backspace sometimes then the browser will go back a pace. In other words I lost all that word even when I click cancel it still goes back. This was the last straw, on other times it was only at around 100-200 but this set me off. So without further ado:
1. Type about:config in the address bar and press enter.
2. Search for browser.backspace_action and change the value to 1, anything above one will completely unmap the key.
So there you have it if you have this problem!
EDIT: Sorry didn't realize I posted this in the wrong section. I'll report it to move it. I guess for reporting it says that would not be a reason to report this, so if a mod sees this and could move it, it'd be appreciated!
