Yes best place to put your link is in Author URL box (provided its not nofollow) but sites which allow comments upon registration, there you have to put your link inside comment box. Simply write your comment, then

    Regards,

    Your site link

    Hopefully it will help

Actually some blog websites allow us to place a link with anchor text in the body of comment. If it is found, its best place to put your link. Otherwise, you can place it in website section.

You didn't even answer his question.

In response to the OP, putting your link in the comment itself is a nearly sure-fire way to have your comment rejected. It's best to use the designated website / URL box and a variation of your anchor text as your name. (If you can.)

For example, "Rick, from LCD Monitor Reviews"

The website box usually has the effect of linking your name to your website. One tactic to use is to use a keyword phrase in place of your name. - hope that helps

Use the URL box that is provided. Having it in the comment box increases the chance that it looks like spam.
