    Google +1's shouldn't have any impact to PR since PageRank is passed by links and Google +1's don't add any links. However, Google +1's do add authority to the site which everyone could use more of.

    Yes, articles have clearly stated that Google +1s will play a role in your ranking somewhat, but it seems no one knows exactly how much of a difference. Like how much of a difference 100+s would make, or what 'magic number' will create change. If I still had a link to those articles I would...I believe it's more about trust from Google though than it is about actually helping the rank.

    No it doesnt because there is no link's from a google +1, however it has been shown to help SERPs and click throughs

    I don't think so, But Google +1 really effects on site popularity in the eye's of Google Search Engine.So it is important to include Google Plus in your seo Campaign.

    Not sure about page rank..... but in my limited experience it definitely has an impact on SERPs ....

    The more people that +1 a page...the better ... however would like to know what experts feel is the extent to which this effects the SERPs

    Well In My Opinion Google Plus having Deep Impacts on Search Engine Result Page (SERP), Google (Search Engine) is Giving more Importance to +1! More and More Webmasters are currently using Plus One for Increasing Their SERPS!

    I don't think the OP has a clear idea of the difference between PR and ranking.

    Be that as it may, there was a good split-test on one of the, khm khm, "darker" SEO forums that seemed to show a clear SEO benefit to getting +1s, BUT the best results seemed to be from getting +1s from a diverse range of unique IPs, which most +1 providers probably won't give you.

      I thought the purpose of SEO was to rank in the SERPs and thus drive traffic from that :confused:

    Google + 1 is a digital shorthand for "Hey, it's pretty cool!".
    It allows you to publicly give something your "stamp of approval" on Google search results. It is like personally recommending your choices to your contacts; an extension of Word-of-Mouth promotion. A thing that gets +1ed more is actually a thing that is catchy and meaty. Such a piece gets more viewers and hence there is an increased probability of them being converted into customers.

    You can add a +1 button on your blogs to get feedback from your blog readers.

    In my own opinion guys I think there will be a day in close future when +1's will have bigger impact on rankings than quality backlinks. Why ? Because in my opinion it's relatively harder to game it.
