You can also use Traffic Travis to see some improvements for your website. Doing SEO and building more backlinks CONSTANTLY to your website should take you to 1st page in google for your keywords. Just try to work harder to achieve this (*Hint -> Forum and article marketing would be useful!)

I focus on getting high PR links to my Amazon sites. These tend to give a nice boost. I use BMR, but unfortunately they are closed at the moment, but join the waiting list with them if you want for when they open up again.

I was just reading that online since I was considering BMR. I was not sure if they were open or closed but seems like a wonderful service. I can't afford the $59 a month at the moment, but hoping by joining the wait list that I could afford it by the time it become available.

The best free approach that I know of and does not require much time but can offer semi high PR backlinks within 3-6 months time is hubpages, squidoo and ezinearticles. Hubpages requires you to write unique content so I only do so many there but I post blog posts on squidoo and ezinearticles after giving them a week or so to be indexed on my site.

By creating 2 or so backlinks on each article posted to these pages I end up getting a good amount decent PR backlinks for the keywords I desire and it works pretty well.

Not to mention the SEO sticks for a while and grows constantly with time.

Social Bookmarking + Blog Commenting + Forum profiles give good results.

As anything thought, SEO requires steady work so just random work won't help much.

If you are planning to do it yourself, make sure you do little work everyday, even if it's 2 backlinks a day!

It's much better that 1000 backlinks in 1 day and then just stop after that.

OH yes. What I'm planning on doing to see if it makes a difference, is short article submission from social bookmarking/profile sites.

-Write 5 short posts a day linking to my page url/keyword
-ping those webpages
-submit on Social Monkee (I have the paid service)

That's enough for 35 articles a week linking to 1 page/1 keyword. I'm trying to get a few of my keywords ranked so hoping this helps. I do have forum profiles linked to my blog by keyword but I didn't notice a significant change/improvement when this was done. Commenting shouldn't be a problem. Just trying to think what else I can do to improve my rankings.

First of All, Find Niche Based Blogs/sites and try to make Qualitative Inbound Links! Perform Blog Comments Posting, Social Bookmarking, Forums Postings and Article Submissions! Make Communities on Social Media Sites and try to promote your Site in different social media platforms!
