    Backlinks from new/different domains rather than having all your backlinks from one single domain/website.

    Same with ip, and visitors.

    This are links from different domain name and not from a sub folder/page.

    Backlinks from unique IP's?
    Links from sites hosted on different unique class c hosting. For example, some hosting companies provide shared hosting which means a user can have one hosting account and be able to manage several sites from there. The shared hosting can even be shared among more than one person which could result to hundreds of sites from one hosting IP.

    Unique visits to my site?
    The number of separate people that land on your site thou stat can count unique visitors based on how you set your adjustment. But ordinarily when Mary, Jessica, Paul, Thomas visit your site it will be count as four visitors even if they land on your site several times a day.

      But there are two types, new visitors and unique visitors. If you mentioned unique, then what is new visitors?
      Does unique IP give special importance to your backlink?

        Lets say you own a forum that got 20 visitors today.

        If these are 20 different people (ie. 20 different IP addresses), you will have 20 "unique visitors" clocked in your Google Analytics.

        However if 15 of these 20 people that visited today are "returning visitors" ie. maybe regular members of your forum, that means out of the 20 that visited today, only 5 are "new visitors", as the other 15 have visited your site before. Thus you will have 5 "new visitors".

        Generally the more unique IPs you have backlinks from the better (assuming all things equal ie PR etc) because it looks like there are more websites linking to your site as opposed to say having 100 links all from a handful of sites.
