Hi all, I was wondering how weather there is any diffence in this example.

I comment on a blog that is Pr 0
or
I comment on a blog, the main page is Pr4 but the page on the site i comment on is Pr 0

Now does the second one hold more weight as the site itself is Pr 4 or is it just the same as commenting on the first one.

Hope that all make sense and thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give.

I believe that link from pr 0 or pr 4, all have some effect on our page ranking, pr and increasing traffic.

Google is taking less and less notice of PR now. You should comment on the blog that is closest to your niche

    Hi,

There is a difference. Even though the actual page doesn't have high PR, the entire domain carries more weight, is most likely more regularly visited and indexed by spiders, and probably has more traffic.

If you comment from domain high PR, your site will get fast index from google.

Kenneth1982, this is NOT true! Sorry, but you can leave a comment on a PR6 blog and NEVER get it indexed! It depends on a lot of factors, such as how often google will visit the blog, is the blog in your niche (to receive more weight!), what is the authority of this page, is there a link to the page from the homepage, etc.

Commenting on the PR4 site will have much more impact, even if the page you comment on is PR0. The domain authority of the site gets transferred to the inner pages and some of that will be passed on to you.

It all depends on the indexing, but all things considered I would focus blog comments on getting traffic.

There are more effective ways of getting links than paying for or submitting comments if what you are looking for is links.

Blog Commenting is good for traffic.

If the comment is on PR4 page, then you would get better effect.
