Link Building Strategy After The Recent Panda Update?

Friends, let me know the best link building strategy after the recent update of Google Panda version 3.3.

In this update Google mentioned that, they are going to evaluate the quality & quantity of back-links. So building links for a software company from SEO forums will spoil my reputation?

    youtube backlink? I'm pretty sure you can't apply anchor text to a link on youtube... and that's the WHOLE point of SEO.

    Blog comments are currently the best form of panda-proofing as far as I've seen.

    Good backlinking hasn't changed for years, the panda updates have just re-enforced this, build backlinks embedded in unique and relevant articles ran through high page rank sites with few competing links on the same page.....

      John you are perfectly right...

      I have very good results following only this strategy... and a bunch of social links to that article for increasing link juice.

    I think good quality posting on forums that add value and good quality content with a link from a web 2.0 site will always work no matter what the version of the update. Moreover, some blog postings with unique content that is well written trumps mass links but nevertheless social bookmarking is still very effective for keywords and do not forget social media.

    Why does every one fear the Panda? If you focus on putting out great content, Panda didn't have that much of an impact. The main thing Panda did was focus on eliminating a ton of spam. With all of my clients and site that I have been doing SEO for, none of them took a hit.
