Certain Blog Posts Bouncing Up & Down In Google

Hi guys,
On my blog I have a few blog posts that are usually really popular with the search engines getting up to 100+ visitors per day each.
The only problem is that the rankings for these specific pages keeps fluctuating.
I can be ranked #1-5 in Google for weeks, and then all of a sudden I'll plummet to position 100 for the main keyword and all other relevant keywords. Then a few weeks later my rankings may reappear, only to be lost again shortly after.
What causes this fluctuation? How can I stop it?
The rest of my site isn't usually affected when one blog post takes a dive so it isn't a side wide problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
