Hi, recently I have been thinking about outsourcing my backlinking because it gets boring real quick. Some people/places selling back links sell "wiki backlinks" I'm a noob to SEO, just wondering are these wiki backlinks as valuable/worthy as normal site article backlinks from article marketing robot?
Thanks,

I would suggest that you familiarize yourself first with on-page SEO more than anything and start creating backlinks through blog commenting and article submissions. How's your budget?

I just looked, and from what I found all of the Wikipedia links are NoFollow. Are they selling links directly from Wikipedia, or other external Wikis?

If from Wikipedia, then you won't get link juice. Not only that, but I don't know if anyone really looks at the external links on Wikipedia, so it may not be worth it.

I have done on-page seo, and I have been doing article marketing which has been working reasonably well. however I can't stand spending hours spinning articles, I wanted to outsource the backlinking.

Do not waste your money for wiki backlinks, I tried them out and seems they are useless. Be quite careful with outsourcing because it is your site and you can not trust everyone, especially those who offer 1000s of links on Fiverr. Better continue doing it yourself, it is not so boring to create 10-20 backlinks a day.

Did you use a service on Fiverr for wiki backlinks?

There are some wiki services on the Warrior forum which have very good feedback so it seems that they are working for some people.

If you concentrate on on-page SEO, you will automatically get back links with little effort. The main thing you should do is content, content and content.

wiki backlinks are used for diversity, as quite a lot are no-follow. I think they are powerful to have in the mix of your portfolio but I wouldnt rely on them.

Most of these backlinks would be no-follow, so they wouldn't be so useful for your website. So, don't spend money on this type of backlinks, better do Article and Forum marketing

Spending much money on Wiki Back Links are not worthy as much. Take a look on web and read there are several valuable sources available for having back links in an easy way and for free.

Wiki links are often very helpful if you've done your keyword research and aren't going after "weight loss" with a brand new site. Many wiki sites are high PR and seen as an authority site. Make sure that the content will be well-written, even if spun. If using spun content, make sure it will be manually spun so that each variation is still high quality and makes sense to someone reading it.

Even if the links are no follow, that's ok! No follow links are good to have if they're from authority sites. Read this survey from SEOMoz and be sure to look through the slideshow at the bottom...
