  • You want to focus on a number of factors, but start with putting your keyword in the URL, title, description and headers of your site.

Proper use of <H> tags is important, but you can't judge competition based only on <H> tags.

Software has it's place, but you need to be doing a manual review of the competition.

If you only follow software recommendations you'll be skipping decent keywords.

Just check the main factors like HTML title tag, meta tags, header tags (h1,h2,etc), unique content, and alt tags for images "by hand" to analyze the competition and to see what needs to be done to your own page.

On page SEO is the process of optimizing the content of your website. This includes the text, images and links on your website. Anything uploaded to your site's domain is considered on page. There are several key factors of on page SEO. One of the most discussed factors is keyword density. Keyword density is given as a percentage. The percent value represents the number of times a keyword or phrase appears compared to the total number of words on a page. Other on page factors include the total amount of indexable text a page has as well as the usage of bold text and headings.

It really is that simple. Tools are way to overused!

Guys again to my question... which works best?? having classic methods of stuffing keywords in all parts of web page or stuffing based on top 10 results of that keyword??

keyword stuffing is not a good strategy to start with. I would stay away from softwares that tell you how to optimize your page, if you want some guidance if you're just starting you can install a plugin such as wordpress SEO or easy WP SEO and they will guide you, but even with these tools if you do too much, then it looks artificial and google won't like it, so it depends if you want a websites that says 100% optimized or if you want something that looks natural (and please google). Too many people over-optimize their site, they sometimes get good rankings but only for a while.

See, every tool consider various on page factors for optimization. Focusing on keyword stuffing is certainly not a good idea.
I would advise you to look for best optimization factors and look for those factors in top rankings pages. You have to put in some human efforts here.

The grey matter between your ears.

Seriously, I used to worry about keyword density etc, but so long as you have your keyword in the title and headings, and make sure your article has some LSI keywords, that's all you really need.

    My recommendation would be IBP.

It is a proven suite of professional web promotion tools that helps us with all aspects of website promotion and search engine optimization.

The most popular tools in IBP are the Top 10 Optimizer, the Search Engine Submitter, the Keyword Generator and the Ranking Checker.

IBP’s Top 10 Web Page Optimizer is the proven way to optimize our web pages for high rankings on Google, Yahoo, Ask.com, MSN and other major search engines.

Here is one of the major benefits you get from IBP.

You get to enter your website in to the system and within 5 minutes it will give you a full, easy to read report that will tell you everything you need to do to get your website on Page 1 for that keyword.

The best part is that once you know what needs to be done, every website you make from then on you will know exactly how to fix it and how to get it ranked quickly.

This is priceless information and has made me many times the initial investment of this SEO software.

IBP send you excellent emails (for free) every week with all the latest Google updates to make sure that you know exactly whats going on. Its great as you get to hear the latest news before most people do.

This is definitely not the cheapest software.

IBP is good to begin with. The idea here is to make your site more natural and follow the suggestion, no more thinking of your part. 100% optimized is a bad idea, no site is perfect.
