im running adwords, and i just dont get it. unless im missing something, adwords really isn't that hard to figure out, i mean google give you answers, tutorials, videos for any issues you may have.

im tryin figure out why my quality score is so low like a 3 or 2, but the keyword its saying sucks is in my domain name im driving traffic to, so how can that suck?

im getting traffic and clicks, but its like 4-5 dollars per click for "short sale" keyword or for "HAFA" keyword its under 1.00 for the click, but it says my quality keyword score is 2? go figure, my domain is hafaeligible.com, my ad has hafa, short sale, and other keywords in it. but my score still sucks?

i think its all a scam and google just makes up PPC prices and takes all of our money!!! how do we REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY know. we dont!

:

is there any affordable adwords consulting services out there? keyword : affordable. guess i could google it, lol.

Having used Adwords and some other PPC services for ten years (anniversary of first use on April 6) and managing other accounts for six of those, I can tell you it's not a scam. It's a legitimate way to advertise your business. Those who scream scam are those in your position: low QS resulting in higher prices than they should pay.

The QS system is, as I think you realize, the backbone of the whole system. What you don't seem to know is what makes a good QS, the calculation behind it. Even knowing that is no guarantee of success. I could explain how a combustion engine works but don't ask me to fix my car, I'll just make it worse. That's why Adwords consultants exist.

    Hi HotDamnShortSales,

The AdWords is an auction based system, as I am sure you know. However, Quality Scores were added to the system about five years ago to ensure that the ads would provide a good user experience. So it isn't just bidding against competitors, your ad must also satisfy users, and you are in a competition with other advertisers for QS ratings.

The primary component of Quality Scores is your CTR as compared to your competitors CTR. You need to master the CTR competition if you hope to have a fair shot in the auction bidding for ad positions.
