Does Google count Facebook backlinks/ likes?

Here's the inside scoop. Nothing like a like, tweet, facebook
link, etc. on its own is worth crap.

What google counts is the sheer number and quality of
things that they can see. Like a tweet. They look at numbers
and quality of those that that have retweeted. Getting Joe
Shmo with his spam-50-followers-following-2000 will get
you squat. Your twitter account does have PR and authority.
If "enough" quality tweeters tweet a page, that's a plus
to google.

Ssince most stuff on FB is done behind a login,
with flash, or some other script,
very hard. Putting links on a FB page in the stream is like
blog commenting with a big fat nofollow. That's not going
to get you squat. Putting a link in your personal stream
is seen by no such searchbot anyway. That's true for
anything with a login. But then, it's a script anyway.

What would be good, is if you have a FB group or page,
and enough quality people liked it, AND the link to
the group or page was in your activities or other. Then
that's a link to your page/group. Again though, it's
about quality and numbers. The links to your websites
on your profile page that can be seen without logging
in are nofollow.

Twitter beats FB hands down.
