Hi Guys,

I have a quick wierd question for you about Backlinks.

Let say I have a website that I want it to rank for the key phrase "how to get your ex back".

I have a few articles about it and they are all good with on site SEO.

Since I want my home page website to rank first on google for this key phrase do I like back to the articles or to the main page ?

Also how does google knows I want to rank for this key phrase? Does it knows it because I have my on site SEO about it and also my anchors text about it ?

    SEO work with both ONsite and Offsite. first implement onsite seo on your site like using your target keyword in meta, description, title etc..
    second you need quality content related to your niche in your site.
    third create high pr backlinks using your target keyword "how to get your ex back"

    If you want to rank the home page send your links to the home page
