Hi,

I found an exact match domain that I would like to buy but all domain extensions have been taken except for the .co does anyone know if these rank ok in the search engines?

    Zero difference between these types of domain names. Has been publicly stated many times.

    Only difference is the trust people have which determines how much people click through from the SERPs.

    yes there is no problem in ranking with any type of domain extension .co domains also rank well in search engines.
