Need some info on Scrapebox

I am looking at Scrapebox. I know it can scrape URLs and prioritize them for commenting. Can anyone tell me if it can do this.

Can it be used to login to all the blogs on a list even if I have to enter the password, and then stop there so I can do the commenting myself? Can it then remember the login and password for the next time I want to go there, and login for me and stop so I can do the commenting.

I want to build a list of blogs to go to and comment regularly. The logging in is taking too long doing it manually. I wonder if Scrapebox could go and login to the next blog while I am writing my comment on the previous blog. That would really speed things up.

I have tried AI Roboform and it is just to heavy for my old P4 computer. It is also very confusing to figure out. Maybe someone knows of an even better tool for doing what I want.

Thanks
Johnnie

No, I don't think Scrapebox does that. You would need some sort of macro program to do something like that

I guess it will just comment on sites that are wide open for commenting. Not sure I would want to put comments with a link on a blog like that. It would be full of spam and I am sure Google would recognise that.

I guess I could still use Scrapebox to find and sort Blog URLs by PR in my niche.

What about one of those programs that save passwords and enter them for you, kind of like AI Roboform. Anyone know of a good one. I have no idea.

Now I have all my passwords on a USB stick and it's a pain looking for each one and copying and pasting it for each site. My USB ports are on the back of the computer so it is a pain putting it in and taking it out. Need some sort of solution.

Hi there, what you can do with scrapebox is import a list of urls from a txt file. It has an internal browser which makes it easy to scroll through all the sites, just use the up or down arrows. It also has the advantage of letting you choose an ip address if you want to be more anonymous.

    Hey Johnnie,

What you are asking for is not possible with Scrapebox, however you can follow the advice given by kingtana1 and other posters above to make the job easier.

    Cheers

Scrapebox to help harvest and sort the posts. Your browser + Lastpass to comment. Lastpass will automatically log you in as you visit each site. (Or you can have a 1 click login.)

Sounds good, I will give Lastpass a try. I am checking out Imacro plugin right now but it seems to be quite buggy. Scrapebox will have to wait a while till I have the bucks but I hear it is a great tool for many things.
