Adwords QS - Confused

Hi All,

I have set up my first campaign and some of my main keywords now have 'Rarely shown due to low quality score'

Here is the data set (using dog training as an example)

The Keyword: dog training

My site domain doghelp.mydomain.com

Home Title: Help With Dog Training

Home Desc: A Helpful Resource on Dog Training

The Site itself (wordpress) is also full of the keywords (but not stuffed just for optimization) - but even an idiot can see what the niche is.

My adwords ad:

Dog Training Help
Learn what works and helps
in Dog Training Today.

I can't see how else I can optmize more then that?

The other weird thing is that 'Dog Training Tips' as a KW comes up as 'Eligible'?

    Quality score is related to more than just the relevance of the ad to the page. It also is related to CTR on the ad.

    I'm assuming you are always running two ads at a time, then regularly pausing the lower performer and putting up a new one to compete with the winner. Its the best way to keep climbing the ladder of responsiveness.

    Typically, adword ads work best if the first line includes the keyword (but not always), the second line contains solid benefits, and the third line describes the feature or offer.

    I'd suggest significantly increasing the "volume" of your ad. Perhaps something like

    Dog Out of Control?
    Dog Training That Really Works
    Targeted Solutions to Your Problems
    (url)

    or

    Dog Training That Works!
    Get That Dog Under Control
    Free reports and more


    I haven't checked to see if these are too long, but I think you get the idea.

    Did you JUST launch the campaign? AdWords nowadays seem to launch everyone at very low QS, then raise them an hour or two later, especially for new accounts

    ? what is dog training ? is it make money online, health / snake oil, build my abs in 3 easy steps ? hynosos ? a clickbank product / type sales letter any of those and more will run a dud no matter what you try and do, G does not like them.
