Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to ask everyone a few questions about sub domains?

1.Do you think they can rank just as we'll as a new exact match domain ?

2.Do you think google really looks at them as separate domains ?

    I think...
    1. There are so many variations on the 1 search topic that pinning it down with an exact match domain name is not necessarily the best way to reach eyeballs.
    2. Google ranks domains as per the main domain, all its subdomains fall under this umbrella

    From my humble experience:
    1. Yes, they will be ranked just as a non-sub domain
    2. If there's not connection between the 2 sub domains (no links), Google will look at them as 2 separate sites. If they are linked together they will be regarded as the same site - USUALLY.

    1. Yes but it depends on the power of your domain and also subdomain from seo aspect. I mean you need to optimize both subdomain and domain to achieve this goal.
    2. Yes. It seems that Google considers them independent but i think its something between independent and dependent.
