Tweetadder still good?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe TweetAdder was also one of the 5 'spam' services that Twitter recently sued along with TweetAttacks

Tweet Adder's site is still online - but they were also named in the lawsuit.

so HOW LONG they will continue to work is the real question.

My personal opinion - LEAVE TWITTER ALONE.

Stop while you're ahead. Seriously.

Twitter has proven that they are done screwing around with people who automate their accounts, and they have proven they are willing to take legal action against those who continue to do so.

So just stop messing with Twitter and move on, before they target YOU in their next lawsuit.

I'm done with Twitter, and I hope everyone else does the same. It was great while it lasted, but its time to move on. I would hate to see anybody get in trouble over something so stupid.

If you're one of the people who bought tweet attacks from me, (which I THINK you are, crete) then just keep checking your email every now & again that you subscribed to my list with.

I'm currently checking out a few different things, once I know how they work & THAT they work, I'll be sending the links out to everyone.

Anybody using Tweetadder?

I do not recommend using TweetAdder for adding friends, besides that fact that it doesn't work well for that, I've also had account switched off while using it. TweetAdder is just a tool and you can use it to piss off Twitter, or not. I use it for auto follow back and for dripping certain non-spammy high value content (which it's great at).

If you want to grow a big following you can, but automation tools are not the way to do it. I'll shortly be releasing my ebook which describes a white hat semi-automated system to do this that's very successful. See my sig if interested.

Tweet Adder was running just a few days ago,last I checked. All the modules were running perfectly fine.

Considering the lawsuit though, Tweet Adder might go down anytime. Wouldn't recommend you to continue using it.

I would stay away from any Twitter program for the time being. Lawsuits are scary. Companies can easily fold. You've then lost your money you spent on a piece of software.

Stay away from any tools that help spam sites on the internet. Unfortunately when you spam it cannot be undone unlike an excel worksheet where you can click on undo and you can start again :-).

Gud Lordy Guys, answer the OPs question. Yes, I am still using TweetAdder and it is working fine. I have taken a go slow tack and am posting informational tweets 80% and promotional tweets 20%.

I am not aggressive on the follows/unfollows. . . in the past it worked great for that, but now notsomuch.

And also, for the noob reading this post. Getting targeted traffic from Twitter is like "catching air" as with all social media venues, the target is to form relationships FIRST, then you can market to them.

I am not interested to twitter from the past.Having read these posts just try to avoid it in future.

Tweetattacks would go back to the server to verify your acct. Does tweetadder do this also? I got shafted on tweetattacks I just want to be sure if tweetadder goes down the software will still be functional and good.

I use JustUnfollow.com for following/unfollowing.

They don't break Twitter's T&Cs because you have to manually hit the unfollow button - they present you with lists of users with a button next to their name.

They also have features such as listing your inactive followers, and your followers you haven't followed back, and a hand 'copy followers' function for following the followers of other accounts.

Do NOT use such services, do it the RIGHT way -> just tweet about something INTERESTING and USEFUL and hope other will like it and they will share it with their followers too!
