Weird anomaly while promoting a website.

So, i am promoting a website while i do it i from time to time go to google and manually search for the keywords i promote.

Many times i see that the keywords are on 2/4/6th position on google.
But then i check tools like market samurai. or go to another computer and do the same search for the same keyword - but this time my keyword nowhere to be seen. not even in the top 100 ...

When i come back to the computer i promoted the website and do the search again- ones again on top 6 positions.

Anyone have any idea ? how is that?

    It helps to log out of your Google account before searching or just use a completely different tool.

    Clear the cache of your browser, it remembers that you have visited the site and put it up on top
