Is partnership good for SEO ?

Hi
i want to ask if partnership is good for SEO
I mean i put his link in my site (A) and he put my link in his site (B)

    Not bad as long as google doesn't know about the partnership. :p

    BTW According to google webmaster guideline reciprocal links are strictly forbidden.

      but google would notice that each site is link to the other one

        Google isn't going to notice unless it is thousands of links.

        If you are really willing to use reciprocal links then you can use it in another attitude. Lets say you have two websites. One is on Car and another one is on Pet animals. Now ask to your potential link partner to give a link to your Car site and in reply you would give him a link from Pet animals site. In this way both of you would stay away from risk.

        Ok now if your link partner dont want to let you get a link from his site until you are giving a link to partner's site from relevant site then you can purchase a high PR domain. Install drupal/wordpress/joomla whatever you want. Post content relevant to your niche. And then give a link to your partner from the site. In reply he would give you a backlink to your moneysite. I should say it would require too much work for just one backlink. So use this method if you have lots of link partners who are willing to share links with you.

    Google wants reciprocal links to be no follow.

    Back in the day recip links were ace, this was in like 1920, though.
