Google likes me but not Bing, Yahoo, etc.

I get 70% of my traffic from Google but I might be lucky to get 4 unique visitors per month from Bing, maybe 4 from Yahoo, etc.

I thought the on-page SEO techniques were pretty much the same for all search engines. Any ideas why Bing and Yahoo don't like my site?

Interesting, my site tends to rank higher in Yahoo and Bing.

I have noticed that the results from Yahoo and Bing are quite similar, if not exactly the same. I'm pretty sure that they use basically the same algorithm.

Your site may rank higher on Google because you have more Google backlinks rather than Yahoo ones. I'm not sure exactly how these are distinguished, but I know that there is a difference.

Bing and Yahoo are indeed pretty much the same.
The most important thing is the algorithm, also if you do your research, you will probebly build it around the Google SERP, when your competition is low on big G, it can very will be hardcore on Yahoo.

My guess, everything is build around Google these days, every tool you use (also WP plugins ect.) every technique you use.

In my experience its Google that is faster with indexing, most of the time it will take my sites well over 6 months to rank equal in the different search engines.

Yahoo IS Bing, Yahoo has already abandoned their own search engine in favor of Bing. There is no point to differentiate between the two.

From what I've seen, it's easier to rank new sites on Google than it is to rank them on Yahoo. Just give it time, and your site should go up.

It's not that they don't like your site. Every search engine has its own criteria in ranking a site, or how you can get traffic from them.

But in my experience, you should always give users what they want regardless of what search engine they will come from.

So to make things clear, you can visit Yahoo and Bing's webmaster guidelines so that you will have a clear path on how you can rank your site to them to get traffic.

I think Yahoo and Bing still love you but just Google loves you so much more. I think everyone gets majority of their search traffic form Google even if their site would rank higher in other search engines, so that would be quite normal.
